Belfast’s second franchise exhibition proved that Ulster entrepreneurs have a strong and healthy demand for franchise businesses with hugely positive feedback from both exhibitors and visitors alike. This highlights the rapid growth and demand for franchising in the region.
The event which took place at the Odyssey Arena attracted a wide range of visitors and featured both established and new franchises covering a cross section of industry sectors from around Northern Ireland, the UK and abroad.
The Franchise Exhibition was commended by exhibitors for the quality of visitors, and the number of serious enquiries received:
Troy Trappenden of Dream Doors, the kitchen re-facing franchise, commented: “This is one of the best of the 21 franchise exhibitions I’ve ever done. We’ve met some excellent people and we expect to do very well out of it.”
Harry Taylor of Ink World, said: “It’s our first time at The Franchise Exhibition in Belfast and we’ve had a successful show. We’ve met some good quality leads and we expect to get two to three franchises to sign up in the next few months.”
Alun Mowe of MetroRod commented: “We’ve had a great experience at The Franchise Exhibition, meeting some very high quality leads. The exhibition looks like it will deliver an excellent return on our investment.”
The event also included the Starting Your Own Business Zone which featured a range of insightful presentations from local business experts providing inspirational advice and information on all aspects of starting a business. Topics included entrepreneurship, attracting investors, a guide to sales and marketing and how to optimise your web presence.
The Franchise Exhibition was hailed a huge success by David Tuck, Franchise Sales Manager at Venture Marketing Group: “The Odyssey was bustling with activity throughout the two days of the exhibition and it’s clear from the feedback from exhibitors and visitors that it was a highly productive event. We look forward to The Franchise Exhibition Belfast 2008 and to watching the exciting growth of Ulster’s franchise industry.”
